Teens (RCIA High School) Formation

• St. Max offers a sacramental journey for High School students (RCIA adapted for teens) who desire to receive one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation:  Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion/Eucharist, or simply want to learn more about the Catholic faith.
• This journey of faith provides an opportunity for spiritual growth, conversion, and personal choice in preparation for full initiation into the Catholic Church. . Conversion (a change of heart) may be evidenced by an increase in prayer, greater participation at weekly mass, self-realization that the teen is an important member of the parish community, and/or involvement in community service opportunities at the parish and within the community.  It empowers teens to live their faith every day as witnesses of Jesus Christ.

Weekly sessions are held on Thursdays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the St. Max Education Center beginning October 3^rd  through May. Our volunteer Catechetical Team (instructors/guides) comply with the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Miami Safe Environment Office.

We welcome the entire family by meeting with them prior to the start of the weekly sessions. The family is encouraged to support their son/daughter by participation in designated masses, meetings, and socials.
